DOES THE ROLLING SIDE OF TARP NEED TO BE? i

This information is used to determine the type of finish the tarp requires to suit the roller pipe you intend to use.

For further reinforcements needed, check the following boxes with your needs. For a particular preferred material colour at no extra cost, make sure to fill in the Material Colour dropbox.

    Front and Back Reinforcing: i

A standard 200mm wide PVC strip that runs the width of your tarp to give extra strength to the very front and back of the tarp. Our standard 50mm webbing is still included on the ends of the tarp, with or without the extra reinforcements. Wide reinforcements are available however they incur a larger cost than standard.

    Bin Edge Reinforcement: i

A standard 200mm wide reinforcement that runs the length of the tarp, along the bin edge opposite the mounted side. This is used to reinforce the tarp where it hangs over the side of the bin and gives it more strength in a possibly wear point. Wide reinforcements are available however they incur a larger cost than standard.

    Center Ridge Reinforcement: i

A standard 200mm wide reinforcement, similar to a bin edge reinforcement however, it runs down the length of the bin down the centre bar. This is again a reinforcement for a possible wear point. Wide reinforcements are available however they incur a larger cost than standard.

Do you require Uni-joint & Pipe Spigot? i

Uni-Joint: This is a universal joint that acts like a knuckle, allowing a smooth turning motion for both the roller pipe and the handle when opening and closing the tarp. This joint connects to the pipe via a spigot and the same with a handle. Our uni joints are splined and are heavy duty.

Pipe Spigot: These are the spigots that fit the roller pipe to the uni joint. Our spigots are also splined on one end in order to fit into the uni joint.

    Truck Tarps

DOING ROLL TARPS THE RIGHT WAY

It is a legal requirement for trucks carrying bulk goods to be covered, and often necessary for these covers to be totally waterproof.

For ease of logistics, roll tarps are generally provided in kit form.

Even colour coordination has been taken into account with colours that match most brands or vehicles, including red, yellow, navy blue, white and black.

    Truck Tarps

5 Reasons Truck Tarps are normally made out of PVC

1.) Strong and Lightweight (Good mechanical strength and toughness)

2.) Easy to install (PVC can be easily cut to shape & welded)

3.) Durable (PVC is resistant to chemical rotting, shock and abrasion)

4.) Cost-Effective (Low maintenance and high lifespan)

5.) Good Insulator (PVC does not conduct electricity, reduces static shock)

    Truck Tarps

Grooves within the ‘Roll Pipe’ to ensure the fabric grips tightly when wound back.

    Roll Tarp Systems – Components

A complete range of parts and components for a quality roll tarp system can be included.

Whether you’re adapting or replacing, you’ll find all you need to get you covered quickly and with reliability you can trust.

    High wear and tear

The roll tarps include reinforcement in the areas of high wear and tear with double thickness at actual wear points, and the handles are heavy duty steel so they don’t bend when wound back.
